Townes and his brother, Gram, were born on a local farm. Their mother died and they came to live with us at just about a week old. Both Townes and Gram came to us as bottle babies and spent the first few weeks living inside our house in a makeshift stall. 

Townes grew rapidly and established himself as Herd King very early on. He has magnificent horns and a very gentle spirit but tolerates little misbehavior among his herd. Either Townes or Gram is the father of Ira and Charlie.
